Once again, trying my best to see if I can replicate the artwork I used to see on old Airfix models , but this time using real planes!

Headcorn Airshow 2024

Despite the despicable weather, we got lucky with the Headcorn Airshow this year (going on the only day that wasn't a complete washout).

While some of the shots do, indeed, look frozen in time like those old Airfix boxes (sorry if you're not old enough to remember them!) , I think I balanced either the looks of 'Frozen', 'Old Painting' or 'Action Shot', dependent on the subject.

I didn't get it right every time, of course, but that is the nature of event photography - you don't get a retake.
